2AM Final Exam
The Text
Al Fadjer is a very special school in the United Arab of Emirates. It teaches the blind and the deaf. These children cannot learn at ordinary schools because they cannot see or hear. They need a lot of help from teachers who are specially trained. There are thirty two teachers and three hundred pupils at Al Fadjer school. There are about one hundred and eighty blind pupils and the rest are deaf. Eighteen of the teachers are trained to teach the blind.
The blind pupils learn most of the subjects that ordinary pupils learn but in Braille. This means that they learn to read by touching dots with their fingers. All their books are in Braille. The deaf pupils learn computers and records. Blind pupils and deaf pupils go to university or get jobs after they leave Al Fadjer.
